Jordin and I got married on May 15th, 2009. We love it! Marriage is totally underrated. It’s the best thing either of us have ever done in our lives. We are now Mr. and Mrs. Curtis and Jordin Wiklund!

I submitted an entry to be the composer of the new Regis and Kelly intro theme song! And win $100,000!

I lost.

Kendra (my little sister) has been my model to practice lighting and editing techniques on. Here’s some more of her senior pictures I did last night. The pictures themselves are from when there was snow on the ground. She was freezing! :)

I’m getting married in three days, and my wife-to-be is unbelievable. I’m going to have butterflies and live in la la land for the rest of my life. :)

The goal here was to put 3D characters in real space.
We’re blueberries.

Our wedding is in ONE WEEK!

Here’s a little hand drawn animation I did this semester based on a clip from animation mentor. I’ve gained a lot of respect for those old feature length hand drawn animations! This took so long and it’s about 15 seconds long and no color!

Next fall, for my senior thesis here at UofM, I’m creating an Animated Musical Short with my roommate. I’m pretty excited about it, but there’s still a lot to learn before the fall in order to finish it all in one semester. Here’s my first attempt at character animation. It’s pretty rough and needs tweaking that could keep me busy for months, but I’ve learned what I need to in order to begin rigging my own characters.

Time for some character designs!

This is a song I wrote for Jordin back in our dating days about a year and a half ago. It’s rough, but after a year and a half of not recording the rest of it, I decided all the instrumentation and better miking I envisioned for it would have to remain in my head. She liked it. :)
